Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2017 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Amerigo Vespucci by Huang Yong Ping. The price achieved of USD 50,000.00 (€ 42,023.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Huang Yong Ping have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le carte du monde in November 2007 with an auction result of HKD 3,367,500.00 (€ 294,381.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2017 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Amerigo Vespucci von Huang Yong Ping zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 42.023,87) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Huang Yong Ping auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le carte du monde im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.367.500,00 (€ 294.381,13).
