Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Preparatory Drawing For Tete D'Or At Mac Lyon) by Huang Yong Ping was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 160,000.00 – 260,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 175,000.00 (€ 21,373.79) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Yong Ping achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le carte du monde in November 2007 with an auction result of HKD 3,367,500.00 (€ 294,381.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Preparatory Drawing For Tete D'Or At Mac Lyon) von Huang Yong Ping kam im November 2015 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 160.000,00 – 260.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 175.000,00 (€ 21.373,79) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Yong Ping erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le carte du monde im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.367.500,00 (€ 294.381,13).
