Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Overturned Tomb by Huang Yong Ping was sold in the The Origo Collection — Contemporary Ink Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2016. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 68,750.00 (€ 7,745.72). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Yong Ping achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le carte du monde in November 2007 with an auction result of HKD 3,367,500.00 (€ 294,381.13).
