Estimate exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Howard Kanovitz achieved an unexpectedly high price at VAN HAM in November 2014. In the Moderne + Zeitgenössische Kunst auction, the work "PLUM JAM" sold for EUR 2,064.00 - well above the estimate of EUR 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Howard Kanovitz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work One By Threes in July 2020 with an auction result of EUR 62,500.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Howard Kanovitz erzielte im November 2014 bei VAN HAM einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Moderne + Zeitgenössische Kunst wurde die Arbeit "PLUM JAM" für EUR 2.064,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem Schätzpreis von EUR 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Howard Kanovitz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit One By Threes im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 62.500,00.
