Sold at the lower estimate price
The work "Electric Clock" by Howard Kanovitz was sold in the Contemporary Art & Design auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in April this year. The result of SEK 40,000.00 (€ 3,536.23) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Howard Kanovitz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work One By Threes in July 2020 with an auction result of EUR 62,500.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit "Electric Clock" von Howard Kanovitz wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 40.000,00 (€ 3.536,23) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Howard Kanovitz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit One By Threes im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 62.500,00.
