Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2013 Sothebys in New York held the auction Prints, which included the work Skyscraper (Duffy 96) by Howard Cook. The price achieved of USD 9,375.00 (€ 7,218.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Howard Cook have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fog Patterns #2 in March 2019 with an auction result of USD 47,500.00 (€ 42,304.95).
