Sold at the lower estimate price
The work The New Yorker by Howard Cook was auctioned at Christies in September 2021. The result of USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,455.13) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Howard Cook achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fog Patterns #2 in March 2019 with an auction result of USD 47,500.00 (€ 42,304.95).
