In March 2017 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Curated featuring works from “In Its Own Light: Property from the Collection of Ed Cohen and Victoria Shaw”, which included the work Portrait Of D.H. Ii by Herbert Ferber. The »bidding war« ended at USD 56,250.00 (€ 52,579.92), 41% above the upper estimate. Other works by Herbert Ferber have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 92,500.00 (€ 74,783.73) in May 2010 for the work Portrait Of D.H. Ii.

Ii von Herbert Ferber zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 52.579,92) und damit 41% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
