Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2016 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Curated, which included this untitled work by Herbert Ferber. The price achieved of USD 10,625.00 (€ 9,328.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Herbert Ferber have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of D.H. Ii in May 2010 with an auction result of USD 92,500.00 (€ 74,783.73).
