Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Among Flowers by Han Yajuan was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in London in October 2008. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,746.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Han Yajuan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tribute To Marilyn, which sold at auction in February 2008 for GBP 38,900.00 (€ 50,879.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Among Flowers von Han Yajuan wurde im Oktober 2008 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 12.746,41) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Han Yajuan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tribute To Marilyn beobachtet, die im Februar 2008 für GBP 38.900,00 (€ 50.879,67) versteigert wurde.
