Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Han Yajuan could be acquired at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Asian Art auction, the work Little Milk Cow Underwear changed hands for HKD 13,750.00 (€ 1,589.10) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Han Yajuan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tribute To Marilyn in February 2008 with an auction result of GBP 38,900.00 (€ 50,879.67).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Han Yajuan konnte im April 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art wechselte die Arbeit Little Milk Cow Underwear für HKD 13.750,00 (€ 1.589,10) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Han Yajuan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tribute To Marilyn im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 38.900,00 (€ 50.879,67).
