Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Han Yajuan could be acquired at Sothebys in Hong Kong in January 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Boundless: Contemporary Art auction, the work I Will Marry You Tomorrow! changed hands for HKD 47,500.00 (€ 4,531.85) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Han Yajuan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tribute To Marilyn in February 2008 with an auction result of GBP 38,900.00 (€ 50,879.67).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Han Yajuan konnte im Januar 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Boundless: Contemporary Art wechselte die Arbeit I Will Marry You Tomorrow! für HKD 47.500,00 (€ 4.531,85) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Han Yajuan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tribute To Marilyn im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 38.900,00 (€ 50.879,67).
