Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2013 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Asian Art, which included the work My Kingdom Of Milk No. 18 by Han Yajuan. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 43,750.00 (€ 4,151.65) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Han Yajuan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tribute To Marilyn in February 2008 with an auction result of GBP 38,900.00 (€ 50,879.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2013 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit My Kingdom Of Milk No. 18 von Han Yajuan zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 43.750,00 (€ 4.151,65) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Han Yajuan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tribute To Marilyn im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 38.900,00 (€ 50.879,67).
