The work Untitled (Key on Table) by Gertrude Abercrombie was worth USD 75,600.00 (€ 70,450.10) to a buyer in May last year. This price was achieved in the auction Modern Day Auction at Sothebys in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 25,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Gertrude Abercrombie have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Giraffe in May 2021 with an auction result of USD 365,400.00 (€ 299,655.57).
