Auction result well in line with expectations
The work China Portrait by Feng Zhengjie was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2014. The price achieved of USD 59,375.00 (€ 47,736.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Feng Zhengjie have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Chinese Portrait Series, No.08 in April 2008 with an auction result of HKD 2,887,500.00 (€ 237,966.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit China Portrait von Feng Zhengjie kam im November 2014 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 59.375,00 (€ 47.736,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Feng Zhengjie auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Chinese Portrait Series, No.08 im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.887.500,00 (€ 237.966,50).
