In March 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Portrait Series by Feng Zhengjie. The »bidding war« ended at USD 18,900.00 (€ 16,094.69), 26% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Feng Zhengjie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chinese Portrait Series, No.08 in April 2008 with an auction result of HKD 2,887,500.00 (€ 237,966.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Im März 2021 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Series von Feng Zhengjie zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 18.900,00 (€ 16.094,69) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Feng Zhengjie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chinese Portrait Series, No.08 im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.887.500,00 (€ 237.966,50).
