Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Chinese Portrait Series: No. 26, No. 38, and No. 53 by Feng Zhengjie was sold in the Contemporary Edition auction at Christies in New York in July 2019. The price achieved of USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,369.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Feng Zhengjie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chinese Portrait Series, No.08 in April 2008 with an auction result of HKD 2,887,500.00 (€ 237,966.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Chinese Portrait Series: No. 26, No. 38, and No. 53 von Feng Zhengjie wurde im Juli 2019 in der Auktion Contemporary Edition bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.750,00 (€ 3.369,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Feng Zhengjie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chinese Portrait Series, No.08 im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.887.500,00 (€ 237.966,50).
