The work Chinese Portrait Series by Feng Zhengjie was sold in the Contemporary Art | Hong Kong auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in January 2021. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 75,600.00 (€ 8,036.59), 51% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Feng Zhengjie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chinese Portrait Series, No.08 in April 2008 with an auction result of HKD 2,887,500.00 (€ 237,966.50).

Die Arbeit Chinese Portrait Series von Feng Zhengjie wurde im Januar 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Art | Hong Kong bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 75.600,00 (€ 8.036,59) und damit 51% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Feng Zhengjie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chinese Portrait Series, No.08 im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.887.500,00 (€ 237.966,50).
