signed, titled, dated `1981' and numbered 64/90 in pencil (there was also an edition of 10 in Roman numerals), published by the artist, soiling in the margins, a small stain in the lower margin, otherwise in very good condition, framed.

Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work L'Atelier Rene Taze (III) by Erik Desmazieres was auctioned at Phillips in New York in November 2009. Here, the upper estimate of USD 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 2,250.00 (€ 1,500.60). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Erik Desmazieres - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Bibliotheque De Babel, 1997, 1Ère Suite, which sold at auction in May 2008 for EUR 4,337.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit L'Atelier Rene Taze (III) von Erik Desmazieres kam im November 2009 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 2.250,00 (€ 1.500,60) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Erik Desmazieres mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La Bibliotheque De Babel, 1997, 1Ère Suite beobachtet, die im Mai 2008 für EUR 4.337,00 versteigert wurde.
