The work Precis D'Horticulture, 1991 by Erik Desmazieres was sold in the Prints and Illustrated Books auction at Artcurial in Paris in June 2009. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 510.00. Admittedly, works by Erik Desmazieres have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Bibliotheque De Babel, 1997, 1Ère Suite in May 2008 with an auction result of EUR 4,337.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Precis D'Horticulture, 1991 von Erik Desmazieres wurde im Juni 2009 in der Auktion Prints and Illustrated Books bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 510,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Erik Desmazieres auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Bibliotheque De Babel, 1997, 1Ère Suite im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 4.337,00.
