Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Paradise Lost by Entang Wiharso was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2013. It changed hands for a price of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,126.20) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Entang Wiharso have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Feast Table Undeclared Perceptions. in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 58,050.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Paradise Lost von Entang Wiharso kam im Oktober 2013 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.126,20) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Entang Wiharso auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Feast Table Undeclared Perceptions. im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 58.050,00.
