Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Jalanku Tanpa Batas (My Path Is Without Limits) by Entang Wiharso was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,841.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Entang Wiharso have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Feast Table Undeclared Perceptions. in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 58,050.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Jalanku Tanpa Batas (My Path Is Without Limits) von Entang Wiharso kam im Oktober 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.841,33) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Entang Wiharso auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Feast Table Undeclared Perceptions. im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 58.050,00.
