In September last year Christies in Paris held the auction Un regard sur le monde : Collection Comte & Comtesse Jean-Jacques de Flers, which included the work Your Power Becomes Our Problem by Entang Wiharso. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 6,930.00 39% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Entang Wiharso have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Feast Table Undeclared Perceptions. in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 58,050.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 39 % übertroffen
Im September letzten Jahres führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Un regard sur le monde : Collection Comte & Comtesse Jean-Jacques de Flers durch, in der auch die Arbeit Your Power Becomes Our Problem von Entang Wiharso zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 6.930,00 und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Entang Wiharso auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Feast Table Undeclared Perceptions. im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 58.050,00.
