Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work The Untold Stories #3 by Entang Wiharso for HKD 6,250.00 (€ 705.42). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale at Phillips in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 80,000.00 – 100,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Entang Wiharso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Feast Table Undeclared Perceptions. in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 58,050.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Untold Stories #3 von Entang Wiharso für HKD 6.250,00 (€ 705,42) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale bei Phillips in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 100.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Entang Wiharso erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Feast Table Undeclared Perceptions. im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 58.050,00.
