Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Juggler by Enrique Grau was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2018. The price achieved of USD 17,500.00 (€ 15,455.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Enrique Grau have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 81,250.00 (€ 68,288.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Juggler von Enrique Grau kam im November 2018 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 15.455,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Enrique Grau auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 68.288,79).
