Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Los Amigos, 1961 by Enrique Grau was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2018. Here, the upper estimate of USD 22,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 23,750.00 (€ 20,435.38). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Enrique Grau - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in November 2017 for USD 81,250.00 (€ 68,288.79).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Los Amigos, 1961 von Enrique Grau kam im September 2018 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 22.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 23.750,00 (€ 20.435,38) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Enrique Grau mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im November 2017 für USD 81.250,00 (€ 68.288,79) versteigert wurde.
