Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Mesa Con Frutas by Enrique Grau for USD 21,250.00 (€ 16,333.59). This price was achieved in the auction Latin American Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 22,000.00 – 28,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Enrique Grau have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 81,250.00 (€ 68,288.79).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Mesa Con Frutas von Enrique Grau für USD 21.250,00 (€ 16.333,59) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 22.000,00 – 28.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Enrique Grau auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 68.288,79).
