The work Camisas by Doris Salcedo was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2017. It achieved a price of USD 168,750.00 (€ 142,851.10), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 41%. Admittedly, works by Doris Salcedo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 665,000.00 (€ 629,615.60).

Die Arbeit Camisas von Doris Salcedo kam im September 2017 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 168.750,00 (€ 142.851,10) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 41%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Doris Salcedo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 665.000,00 (€ 629.615,60).
