Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2018 Phillips in New York held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session, which included this untitled work by Doris Salcedo. Here, the upper estimate of USD 400,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 435,000.00 (€ 384,173.81). Other works by Doris Salcedo have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 665,000.00 (€ 629,615.60) in November 2015 for the work without title.

Im November 2018 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Doris Salcedo zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 400.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 435.000,00 (€ 384.173,81) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Doris Salcedo haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 665.000,00 (€ 629.615,60) im November 2015 für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet.
