Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Festival Predella by Don Nice for USD 63.00 (€ 55.59). This price was achieved in the auction Prints & Multiples at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 200.00 – 300.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Don Nice achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Camels in January 2011 with an auction result of USD 5,250.00 (€ 3,827.93).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Festival Predella von Don Nice für USD 63,00 (€ 55,59) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Prints & Multiples bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 200,00 – 300,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Don Nice erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Camels im Januar 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 5.250,00 (€ 3.827,93).
