Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2018 Christies in New York held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included the work Xibalba by David Benjamin Sherry. It changed hands for a price of USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,580.36) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Other works by David Benjamin Sherry have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2017 the work Ultimate Earth was auctioned for USD 11,875.00 (€ 11,100.21).

Im März 2018 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Xibalba von David Benjamin Sherry zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 6.875,00 (€ 5.580,36) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00.
