Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Constant Puyo could be acquired at Christies in New York in October 2002 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Photographs auction, the work Portrait study changed hands for USD 5,975.00 (€ 6,046.96) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Other works by Constant Puyo have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May 2012 by the work Le Vase Mystique at EUR 8,125.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Constant Puyo konnte im Oktober 2002 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Photographs wechselte die Arbeit Portrait study für USD 5.975,00 (€ 6.046,96) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Constant Puyo wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Mai 2012 die Arbeit Le Vase Mystique mit EUR 8.125,00.
