Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Straw Hat by Constant Puyo was auctioned at Christies in New York in October 2002. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,767.50 (€ 7,861.05) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Other works by Constant Puyo have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2012 the work Le Vase Mystique was auctioned for EUR 8,125.00.

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 7.767,50 (€ 7.861,05) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00.
