Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Three Women By The Seine, On The Ile D'Herblay, 1911 by Constant Puyo was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,975.55) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Constant Puyo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Le Vase Mystique, which sold at auction in May 2012 for EUR 8,125.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Three Women By The Seine, On The Ile D'Herblay, 1911 von Constant Puyo kam im November 2007 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.125,00 (€ 2.975,55) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Constant Puyo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Le Vase Mystique beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für EUR 8.125,00 versteigert wurde.
