Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Constant Puyo could be acquired at Christies in London in November 2004 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19TH & 20TH CENTURY PHOTOGRAPHS auction, the work Parasol Pine, C.1910 changed hands for GBP 597.50 (€ 859.50) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Admittedly, works by Constant Puyo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Vase Mystique in May 2012 with an auction result of EUR 8,125.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Constant Puyo konnte im November 2004 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 19TH & 20TH CENTURY PHOTOGRAPHS wechselte die Arbeit Parasol Pine, C.1910 für GBP 597,50 (€ 859,50) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Constant Puyo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Vase Mystique im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.125,00.
