Auction result well in line with expectations
The work All I Want Is For You Not To Speak Unless You Can Improve On The Silence (White) by Charming Baker was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in New York in September 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,450.71) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Charming Baker have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nine works: i) All I Want Can Only Be Accomplished By Ignoring What You Need (black); ii) All I Want Is For Times To Change Until I Hit Some Good Ones (black); iii) All I Want Is For You Not To Speak Unless You Can Improve On The Silence (black); iv) in April 2019 with an auction result of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 58,164.45
