Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September last year Bonhams in London held the auction Prints and Multiples, which included the work Love Bird II, from 'Love Birds' by Charming Baker. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 701.25 (€ 798.09). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charming Baker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nine works: i) All I Want Can Only Be Accomplished By Ignoring What You Need (black); ii) All I Want Is For Times To Change Until I Hit Some Good Ones (black); iii) All I Want Is For You Not To Speak Unless You Can Improve On The Silence (black); iv) in April 2019 with an auction result of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 58,164.4
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Prints and Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Love Bird II, from 'Love Birds' von Charming Baker zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 700,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 701,25 (€ 798,09) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charming Baker erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nine works: i) All I Want Can Only Be Accomplished By Ignoring What You Need (black); ii) All I Want Is For Times To Change Until I Hit Some Good Ones (black); iii) All I Want Is For You Not To Speak Unless You Can Improve On The Silence (black); iv) im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.000,00 (€ 58.164,45).
