Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included this untitled work by Brent Wadden. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 17,500.00 (€ 24,478.13), 17% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Brent Wadden have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Alignment (13) in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 122,500.00 (€ 172,723.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Brent Wadden zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 24.478,13) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Brent Wadden auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Alignment (13) im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 122.500,00 (€ 172.723,46).
