Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Anita by Brad Kahlhamer was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2013. It changed hands for a price of USD 8,750.00 (€ 6,464.72) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Admittedly, works by Brad Kahlhamer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Steer Skull in November 2006 with an auction result of USD 36,000.00 (€ 27,147.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Anita von Brad Kahlhamer kam im September 2013 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 6.464,72) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Brad Kahlhamer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Steer Skull im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 36.000,00 (€ 27.147,27).
