Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Barnaby Furnas could be acquired at Phillips in New York in October 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Editions & Works on Paper auction, the work Boogie Man changed hands for USD 756.00 (€ 654.43) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Barnaby Furnas achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hamburger Hill in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 422,500.00 (€ 293,892.60).
