Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Drink Me by Anna Gaskell was sold in the Contemporary Art Part II auction at Phillips in New York in May 2008. The result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 6,426.74) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Anna Gaskell have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled #5 (Wonder Series) in May 2003 with an auction result of USD 33,460.00 (€ 28,437.87).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Drink Me von Anna Gaskell wurde im Mai 2008 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Part II bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 6.426,74) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anna Gaskell auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled #5 (Wonder Series) im Mai 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 33.460,00 (€ 28.437,87).
