Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Anna Gaskell could be acquired at Sothebys in London in March 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art | London auction, the work Untitled (Study for Magicass) changed hands for GBP 1,260.00 (€ 1,480.18) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anna Gaskell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled #5 (Wonder Series) in May 2003 with an auction result of USD 33,460.00 (€ 28,437.87).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Anna Gaskell konnte im März 2021 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art | London wechselte die Arbeit Untitled (Study for Magicass) für GBP 1.260,00 (€ 1.480,18) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anna Gaskell erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled #5 (Wonder Series) im Mai 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 33.460,00 (€ 28.437,87).
