Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Beat Him When He Sneezes by Anna Gaskell for USD 875.00 (€ 723.08). This price was achieved in the auction Interiors at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anna Gaskell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled #5 (Wonder Series) in May 2003 with an auction result of USD 33,460.00 (€ 28,437.87).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Beat Him When He Sneezes von Anna Gaskell für USD 875,00 (€ 723,08) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Interiors bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anna Gaskell erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled #5 (Wonder Series) im Mai 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 33.460,00 (€ 28.437,87).
