Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled #19 (Wonder Series) by Anna Gaskell for USD 1,000.00 (€ 906.78). This price was achieved in the auction First Open/ NYC at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anna Gaskell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled #5 (Wonder Series) in May 2003 with an auction result of USD 33,460.00 (€ 28,437.87).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled #19 (Wonder Series) von Anna Gaskell für USD 1.000,00 (€ 906,78) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion First Open/ NYC bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anna Gaskell erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled #5 (Wonder Series) im Mai 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 33.460,00 (€ 28.437,87).
