In May 2003 Christies in New York held the auction Post War and Contemporary (Afternoon Session), which included the work Untitled #5 (Wonder Series) by Anna Gaskell. The »bidding war« ended at USD 33,460.00 (€ 28,437.87), 67% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Untitled #5 (Wonder Series) the most expensive artwork by Anna Gaskell that we have observed at auctions so far.
