The work Evening Star by Allan D'Arcangelo was worth USD 100,800.00 (€ 95,238.10) to a buyer in September this year. This price was achieved in the auction Post-War to Present at Christies in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 30,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Allan D'Arcangelo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work U.S. Highway I, No. 4 in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 802,600.00 (€ 515,809.77).
