Auction result well in line with expectations
In February this year Bonhams held the auction Prints & Multiples | Live OnlineAbstractions, which included the work Resonance; US Highway (2 works) by Allan D'Arcangelo. The price achieved of USD 1,083.75 (€ 1,022.21) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Allan D'Arcangelo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work U.S. Highway I, No. 4 in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 802,600.00 (€ 515,809.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Prints & Multiples | Live OnlineAbstractions durch, in der auch die Arbeit Resonance; US Highway (2 works) von Allan D'Arcangelo zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.083,75 (€ 1.022,21) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Allan D'Arcangelo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit U.S. Highway I, No. 4 im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 802.600,00 (€ 515.809,77).
