Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Nicolas Calas, From Speed to Tension, Edition Domberger, Stuttgart, 1969 by Allan D'Arcangelo was sold in the Prints and Multiples auction at Bonhams in London in December this year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,280.00 (€ 1,474.51). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Allan D'Arcangelo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work U.S. Highway I, No. 4 in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 802,600.00 (€ 515,809.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Nicolas Calas, From Speed to Tension, Edition Domberger, Stuttgart, 1969 von Allan D'Arcangelo wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion Prints and Multiples bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.280,00 (€ 1.474,51) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Allan D'Arcangelo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit U.S. Highway I, No. 4 im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 802.600,00 (€ 515.809,77).
