Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Allan D'Arcangelo could be acquired at Bonhams in February this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Prints & Multiples | Live OnlineAbstractions auction, the work Reflection changed hands for USD 637.50 (€ 601.30) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 700.00 – 900.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Allan D'Arcangelo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work U.S. Highway I, No. 4 in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 802,600.00 (€ 515,809.77).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Allan D'Arcangelo konnte im Februar diesen Jahres bei Bonhams für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Prints & Multiples | Live OnlineAbstractions wechselte die Arbeit Reflection für USD 637,50 (€ 601,30) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 700,00 – 900,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Allan D'Arcangelo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit U.S. Highway I, No. 4 im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 802.600,00 (€ 515.809,77).
