Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Hashashins by Ali Banisadr was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in October 2020. Here, the upper estimate of USD 150,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 163,800.00 (€ 140,637.07). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ali Banisadr - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Motherboard, which sold at auction in July 2020 for USD 572,000.00 (€ 485,816.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Hashashins von Ali Banisadr kam im Oktober 2020 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 150.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 163.800,00 (€ 140.637,07) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Ali Banisadr mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Motherboard beobachtet, die im Juli 2020 für USD 572.000,00 (€ 485.816,21) versteigert wurde.
